Welcome to this week’s roundup of the developments shaping our industry, where creativity, commerce and innovation continue to reshape culture. From Paris Fashion Week and new creative collaborations to beauty expansion, publishing and major moves across fashion and luxury. Here’s what’s catching our attention this week.
HIGHLIGHTS
FASHION
Paris Fashion Week is underway from September 28 to October 6, with the Spring/Summer 2027 collections taking over the French capital. The opening days have already brought major moments from Dior, Saint Laurent and Maison Margiela, alongside emerging voices including Hodakova and Matières Fécales. Rihanna’s surprise appearance at Matières Fécales and high-profile front rows across the week have once again placed Paris at the centre of fashion’s global conversation.
MEDIA
REVOLVE is stepping beyond its digital-first roots with the launch of its first annual print and digital magazine. The inaugural issue features Kendall Jenner, Teyana Taylor and Alex Consani across three covers, expanding the retailer’s universe into longer-form fashion, culture and lifestyle storytelling.
BEAUTY
Rhode is expanding its European footprint with Sephora, launching across more than 500 stores in 19 new European markets. Previously available in Europe primarily through its own website, the move marks the beauty brand’s first major physical retail expansion across the region and brings Hailey Bieber’s brand to a much wider audience.
COLLABORATION
SKIMS x Ludovic de Saint Sernin has launched its new capsule, bringing together Kim Kardashian’s shapewear universe and the Parisian designer’s signature sensuality. Following its London preview in September, the collection explores sheer textures, lace-up details and body-conscious silhouettes; a natural meeting point between the two brands’ aesthetics.
A FEW UPDATES
Zara unveils the first chapter of Re{form}, its creative collaboration with John Galliano, reworking pieces from the retailer’s existing wardrobe through Galliano’s couture-inspired approach.
Chanel will present its Cruise 2027/28 collection in Deauville on April 27, 2027, marking Matthieu Blazy’s second Cruise collection for the House.
Roger Lynch is stepping down as CEO of Condé Nast after seven and a half years, and will join Mattel as its new CEO.
Pandora opens a $150 million jewellery production facility in Vietnam, its first manufacturing site outside Thailand and a major expansion of its global production capacity.
