Using character designs from Diesel’s ‘Fur me, Fur you’ campaign, we brought to life Savvy’s vision of a psychedelic, furry world, resplendent with furry trees, fields, hills, mountains….trapezes and catwalks!

We created an immersive and innovative animated fan...We created an immersive and innovative animated fan experience to showcase the new Reebok All-Star ice hockey jersey at a 4-day Fan Fair event in Nashville and then LA. The result was a multi-sensory VR ice hockey experience that placed fans at the heart of the action, garnering unprecedented positive feedback as well as extensive press, TV, PR and social media coverage for the brand.
The experience allowed fans to experience what it feels like to be part of the All-Star hockey team. Samsung Gear technology was coupled with a wearable SubPac tactile bass system and binaural sound to create a 4D haptic experience that sets it apart from other VR. Working closely with Savvy’s art department we devised an action sequence that made the most of the high impact body checks that feature in ice hockey games, using super slow-mo sequences to really capitalise on these impacts. We rendered the experience in full stereoscopic HD so that a truly immersive 3D experience, that allowed the fans to see and feel the body checks, was created.
A few years back creative director Mark Williams worked...A few years back creative director Mark Williams worked up a brilliant campaign for the Scottish Government to raise more awareness of teenage sexual health issues, following the highest recorded rates of teenage pregnancy and STD’s. Mark’s answer was to create Ladybird-style books, that he called Bee books. They depicted a variety of scenarios teenagers might face and were written in a style that tackled the issues head on, but in a light-hearted and amusing manner that teenagers might more readily relate to.
15,000 bee books were created and distributed throughout Scotland and Mark won over 30 awards for his work including a D&AD yellow pencil. The problem Mark faced when the dust settled however, was that the books looked a little flat in an online portfolio. That’s when Mark came to us to realise his creative in moving image form.
Our solution was to create a stop-motion style CG animation of the books and drop in a voice over from Balamory’s very own Miss Hoolie, who delivered the prose with brilliant comic timing. A simple but effective execution that didn’t attract away from the magic of the books.

Aimed at showing our clients our creativity and production capabilities, this short and incredibly dark, animated, fairy tale centres on a modern re-imagining of the mythical bogeyman creature, that has in many cultures been used by adults to frighten children into obedience. We went about the production as we would any other game cinematic, advertising or broadcast job for our clients. Starting with script writing, character/environment concepting and storyboarding as part of the pre-visualisation stage, we then built and animated everything in 3D, including the characters that were carefully sculpted in great detail in Zbrush. Modelling and animation were undertaken in 3Ds Max and rendered in Vray. Nuke and Fusion were used for composting and various other software, including Naiad, were used for the effects
The Beck’s Green Box project is a global fund established...The Beck’s Green Box project is a global fund established to inspire, celebrate and financially support independent talent in art, design, music and fashion. The beer brand launched what it billed to be the world’s largest “global cultural commissioning project” involving solely augmented-reality enabled works commissioned by renowned artists.
We were delighted to play a part in this global initiative working with a number of the UK’s chosen artists to realise their vision in Augmented Reality. The premise of the installations is explained in the promo film below.
